    It entirely depends on the widget code itself. You’ll have to talk to the author of the widget, or learn a lot of PHP.

    yeah, i tried contacting the author of the widget and got no response.

    I have some widgets that can be used in multiple instances and even though there is a dropdown on the bottom of the widgets page in wp-admin, where you can specify the number of instances you want to use, there is no indication on how to configure each of them. I drag one instance into my sidebar but the others aren’t available in the unused widgets pool.
    Shouldn’t this be how it should work? How then?

    You can have more than one widget. what you need to is rename the plugin name and the php file name. and it will work. regards daya
