Adding multiple features as separate core plugins

    There are multiple Jetpack features that can be added as its own Core Plugin.
    This means a user will not have to install Jetpack to get one or two features the person might want to use.

    It seems Omnisearch will be added as I see it in the features as plugins list:
    http://make.wordpress.org/core/features-as-plugins/

    I notice that the Featured Content group is planning on including the Jetpack featured content as a base for its plugin (I seems the group is on somekind of stand still for the moment.) http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-featured-content/

    Other features in Jetpack that fits in with other groups are:
    Widget visibility and extra sidebars to be included into the Widgets group.

    The most important ones as I see it would be to add: comments, hover cards, contact form into the base for a new plugin.

    Thanks for noticing! We do want to contribute to the wider WordPress.com community, Omnisearch being the perfect example of that.
