• I’ve created a child theme to Vantage so that I can customise it a bit and I’ve had no problems up to now. It’s a great theme to work with. However, I’ve tried to add an icon for a mobile menu to the right hand side of the logo, but it doesn’t seem to be working. The site is http://www.partnersfitness.co.uk. I’m just after a bit of advice on what I’d need to put into the header file and where I’d need to put it to get it to sit to the right of the logo.

  • Hi Meurice

Unfortunately this would be a fairly tricky modification to pull off. I see you have a solution working on your site though. Are you looking to implement something better?

    Hi Greg,

Yes, I cracked this yesterday. As I said, I’m running a child theme so I duplicated the file masthead.php and added in my image after the logo. I then used jQuery to add the functionality and used a media query in my css to make the change between that menu and another.

It’s not pretty from a back end point of view, but it gets the job done. I’ve just got to go through and make a few more tweaks to make the rest of the site mobile friendly and it’s sorted.

Thank you very much for a great theme!
