# Adding Media

 * I’m having problems uploading any media to my site. I can’t edit any images and
   every time I try to upload I get a message asking me to try again later. It’s
   been like this for at least a week.

 * Have you tried:
    -deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem.
   If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic
   plugin(s). -switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

 * Hi there – I am having the same problem – cannot upload any media to any posts
   or pages – have updated to 4.5.3 (it was happening before this though) and have
   tried the strategies above suggested by kmessinger – still not able to add media
 * It’s like the button actually doesn’t connect to anything. – pretty desperate
   as we have events coming up I can’t promote.
