• Hello all! I am currently using the Collapse-O-Matic plugin as a sidebar widget on a site as a sort of sub-menu. It is functioning just fine (no complaint – loving it so far!)

I would just love to be able to link to other pages within the site from it (hence it’s original purpose… sub-menu)

I have tried the example of using an image except I put a link in place of the image inside the title=” ” and it functioned properly but will be dreadful for SEO. I can’t help but wonder if there is a better way…?

My work in progress site is being developed here… http://pte.annmariedevito.com/equipment/

Any help would be very much appreciated!

Please clear up one thing. when you say:

I would just love to be able to link to other pages within the site from it

what is the it? The trigger text, or a link within the target content?

Regardless, the next issue will be to keep the main topic expanded on loaded page, correct?

I’m guessing the trigger text… I don’t currently have anything in the target content.

And, yes, it would be superb if the topic would remain expanded when the next page is loaded, though not all topics expand to show sub-topics within… I have altered (perhaps not the correct usage of the plugin) some to not have an arrow and would like them to just be a single link to another page.

So if I understand you correct…
    1. you want the user to click on the link and…
    2. the item expands showing the content (additional sub links), and…
    3. the browser will navigate away to another page.

    Sound about right?

I have uploaded an image here that hopefully will clearly explain what I am after. Please check it out.

And thank you for taking the time to try and help me out!
