    Can anyone help me I am a true beginner and am finding it really frustrating
   as I am trying to link a product from Amazon to my page. I really need step by
   step help.

 * You can create a text widget in your sidebar and just add in the link.

 * If you are an Amazon affiliate, amazon will give you the exact link code. Once
   you have that, you can place it on your page using the HTML editor, NOT the visual
   one.

   available.
