 * Hi all
 * I am new to wordpress though have a question.
 * I have a forum that is running on mybb and would like to place a link at the 
   top of my wordpress site that when clicked on will take users to the forum?
 * The main purpose of my wordpress website is for me to add articles on a certain
   niche though i intend on the forum been the main focus of attention.
 * Can this be done? sorry for such a newb question but I havent worked with wordpress
   before.

 * Yes it can – if you create a [custom menu](http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Menu_User_Guide).
   That way, you can directly control what is – and isn’t – in your site’s navigation
   menu.

 * Thank you for that though i still have a problem, I created a custom menu and
   it workd though placed the forum link on the right hand side of the page.
 * What i am looking for now is how to add the forum link at the top of the wordpress,
   where the links go across at the top of the page i want to add a forum link if
   that is possible?
