Adding JW Player to a Template

I have searched here and everywhere on the Internet and only found a few posts addressing how to add JW Player to a template (php instead of shortcodes).

Apparently, the solution “used to be” the jwplayer_tag_callback function.

I’ve seen some mention that it doesn’t work in latest version. Even if it did I cant’ be sure it’s not working for me because I have seen multiple versions of the syntax it requires.

Bottom line, I love this player, I want to put it in my home page header. How do I do it?
