    Hello,

Is it possible to add an image or images to categories in the Longevity theme?

    Thanks, Randy

Hi Randy, sorry for late reply, I’m just starting my day here.
You can add image banners and using a plugin like Display Widgets, you can assign them to different areas of your site, Categories being one option. If you use Jetpack, it also has a built-in option called Widget Visibility.

Was that what you were wanting to do?

That is indeed what I wanted to do and many thanks for your reply; I will definitely try your solution.

I really like the template but as I’m currently in the process of moving my site from Joomla to WordPress, there are still a few things for me to figure out.:)

    Have a great day!

You’re very welcome… and Joomla I am very familiar with it as I’ve been using it for like 9 years and even built templates for it. Now I design WP themes.

Anyway, let me know how my solution works out for you. Cheers 🙂

Yep, will do 🙂 The design is coming along nicely and when my new site with the Longevity template goes live I will post the link here.

    Goodmorning,

I wanted to let you know that my website is now live (http://goo.gl/nIQ6Wc) and that the Longevity theme really gave me endless options for the design.

I will certainly keep an eye out for future themes from your company.

    Very best regards,
    Randy

End of the night for me 🙂

Looking great, and the background image works very well with the site, so thank you for sharing the link to your site and also the great comment about Longevity…That should be a review/rating for it, hint hint 🙂 Actually no obligation for that. What is important is that you now have your website up and running and happy with the theme.

…and yes, more themes are coming!
