 * I want to convert my legacy website to WordPress, but did not want to break all
   the search engine lines to my old pages (that ended with .html or .shtml or .
   htm).
 * This plug-in works very well for Pages, but not for Posts.
 * Is it possible to make this also work for a Post?
 * Thanks.

 * It appears using a “Custom Structure” of:
 * /%postname%.html
 * …does the trick. I thought I tried that, originally, and it put a / at the end,
   but either I was mistaken, or having your plug-in there changed that behavior.
 * Looks easy enough 🙂
