# Adding HTML tags in testimonials

 * I’m trying to add HTML tags in the testimonials for extra formatting purposes.
   i.e. <span>, _, **, etc. But the tags don’t show up in the HTML after publishing
   the testimonial and thus, the formatting is not there. Any ideas on how to do
   this or does your plugin not allow for extra HTML tags. Thanks! -KC**_

 * At the moment the plugin strips out most of the HTML tags in the body of the 
   testimonial. We will definitely add the option to allow HTML in a testimonial
   in the next release.
