# Adding Graphics

 * How do you add graphics to the blog? I have an image I wish to use instead of
   the stale blue default. When reader’s log on I them to see the photo and graphics
   for the title.

 * Tweaking the default is a right PITA. Check out the themes on [http://themes.wordpress.net](http://themes.wordpress.net),
   download ones that are laid out the way you like, then tweak colors and graphics.
   I can guarantee you it’s easier and far more painless than messing about with
   kubrick.

 * Actually, I want to use a graphic as the headlining or main graphic. I have tried
   to do what you said but I have no clue how to add a graphic.

 * I don’t know how to add a graphic to the default theme. There are a lot of really
   nice themes at the link I gave you which allow easy change of the graphics to
   your liking. The default theme does NOT allow for easy changes.

 * Hello catprotector,
 * I would also like to add my own graphic as a blog header. Have you had anymore
   responses in your quest for an answer to your question? I’m probably trying to
   make it more difficult than it really is, however, I don’t know where to start
   looking. I would be giddy with joy if someone would say, “go here, and follow
   these steps”. But up to this point I’m not finding that answer!

 * your theme will have an images folder with the default graphics inside. the main
   header is most likley called header. take the graphic you want to use and make
   sure its the same size as the default graphic and name it the exact same. then
   upload your new same name graphic up to your theme images folder.

 * robertlyttle: that’s not always the case, and in fact isn’t the case with the
   default theme. Part of the setup with kubrick is css in the head of the header.
   php file, which is a stupid place for it, and doesn’t allow for easy changes.
