 * Hello, I would like to add the Google search code from adsense into my sidebar
where the search is right now. Does anyone have any suggestions about where I
go to do this, I’m assuming sidebar.php but I’m new to WordPress and would appreciate
any help. The website is [http://www.1easyweightloss.com](http://www.1easyweightloss.com)

   Thanks again!!

 * You are right. Put it in the sidebar, or actually where ever YOU want it, and
   [customize it](http://codex.wordpress.org/Customizing_Your_Sidebar) to your heart’s
   content.

 * Do I add it to my wp-admin/sidebar.php? Thanks!

 * You add it to your THEME sidebar, which is found under `/wp-content/themes/yourthemename/`
not the default sidebar. That will screw things up.
 * Wait, are you using v1.2? If so, upgrade to version 1.5 as soon as possible,
   like yesterday.

 * Yeah I’m running 1.5, I’ll go into the theme sidebar. Thanks!

 * I’ve been able to put in the google search bar, but I’m trying to match the color
up with the google search bar with my side bar. I’m currently looking in the
style.css file but can’t find the sidebar color code? Any suggestions?
    Thanks!

 * The sidebar “code” is found by generating a page and looking for the “words”
in the sidebar that will help you know that it is the sidebar you are looking
for when you look at the source code. Then view the source code and search for
the words. Look back at the code for an ID or class and you will have the name
   of the style stuff.

 * It is sometimes called “menu”.
