• Hello, Meta Tag Manager Support,

Is it possible to add the function, get_comments_number (or a similar meta item), to all posts so that when this custom field data is fetched (ex.: fetched using a different plugin), the Post MetaData value will equal the number of comments the relevant post has?

    Your assistance is appreciated.

    Regards,
    Michael McIntosh

Hi Michael (@mtosh), sorry for the delay.

We’re working on new premium features to help fund more development and support on this plugin, we hope to have this feature very soon!

Hi @mtosh and others that may read this…

I wanted to add an update here, since these threads auto-close in 6 months. We’ve been working on some premium features as mentioned previously, many requests made over the past few years are being implemented.

One of these features will be dynamic placeholders and comments count for the displayed post will be one of them.

We don’t have a fixed release date yet, but likely within the next few weeks. You’ll see an announcement on our plugin update, plugin page and a new dedicated website!
