adding extra "wordpress" directory folder- redirecting? database? local install?

    Nothing untoward is happening. /wp-login.php automatically redirects to /wp-admin/

    My problem was that it was adding an extra directory folder (after my localhost#).. and I solved the issue with some help – the problem was in MySQL.

    I suppose it’s safe to close this thread. How do I do that?
