# Adding exhisting theme to another website

 * I have a client who wants his existing website transferred to another domain.
   The website is going to remain the same, only the domain, phone numbers and location
   will change. Is it possible to transfer the theme to a different site? The theme
   isn’t free and if I have to charge him for the theme I want to know. I looked
   on the CPanel on the host and didn’t see a way to transfer.

 * I’d suggest that you review [Moving_WordPress](http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress).
   As for your commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s developer/
   vendor. We do not support [commercial products](http://codex.wordpress.org/Forum_Welcome#Commercial_Products)
   here.

 * Basically, what I’m wanting to do is copy an existing site and transfer it to
   another domain. I want to keep the original site. There will be minor changes
   to the content, but not the the site code itself. Is this possible?

 * Would it be easier to copy everything in Cpanel from the host than in WP?

 * Can you copy the folder and rename it and change the content in a new folder?

   localhost

 * I have used WP Clone to clone the site. It works, kinda. It keeps asking me to
   log in, but won’t accept my log in name or pw.
