    The structure of your custom feed XML is with the <products> element and
   below it, the <product> element.
 * Can I add another root element above the <products> element? Because I really
   need it.

   the code of the plugin yourselves this is not something you can do with the plugin
   now.

 * The XML file created can’t be structured this way?

    <PRODUCTS> <PRODUCT> I didn’t ask for a change in the plugin’s code..
   Just if one of the channels have this kind of structure or if there is another

 * No, none of the channels. Nor the custom feed supports that XML structure.
