adding discount information to the cart

    On the product listing, the customer sees that if they match product Y with X, they’ll get a discount. The old price is crossed out and the discounted price is listed next to it. However, in the mini-basket or order summary, there’s no such information. Is there any way to add information like, for example, “you save $5”?

    For your information, the prices on the mini-cart depend on the side cart plugin or theme you are using. According to our developers, by default, the original price/ regular price won’t be displayed on the mini-cart/side cart, just the discounted ones only. Some plugin or theme developers might add this to the code so that both prices are visible. Our plugin just follows the WooCommerce defaults.

    The same with the order summary. The added information of the discount was based on the PDF invoice or order processing plugin you are using. We only display the WooCommerce defaults.

    If you would like to have those settings on your site, you might consider consulting with a developer from your end. We do not have any technical support agent available in this forum to help with customization requests.
