    I am building a site for a close knit community that have shared knowledge and experience. In the registration fields is a field that is free form text that I need to match against a list of choices to validate that the user is indeed a member of our community (kind of like a secret handshake 😉 ). Whats the recommended way to do this custom validation rule.

    Hi,

    Thank you for writing to us.

    Unfortunately, due to setup of our current workflow, RegistrationMagic doesn’t have option to add custom validations to the fields as of now. But this is something we plan to bring out in future.

    I would also like to request this feature. It would be helpful to have a hook to attach custom validation code to within a plugin or functions.php

    Hi. It’s probably not the good solution but you can catch the _POST meanwhile rm add hook.

    Something like this :

    if(isset($_POST['rm_form_sub_no'])) && !is_admin() && $_POST['rm_form_sub_no'] == YOUR_FORM_ID) {
    #Do somethink
    }

    Which hook would I use to catch this POST? I don’t think the plugin has any hooks set up.
