# Adding Custom Menus

 * Is the only way I can add additional custom menus to Bushwick (additional to 
   the one already allowed by the theme) to buy a WP plan and then buy a separate
   customize plan?
 * I already have a host that I am very happy with and don’t want to lay out $99
   for the privilege of being able to then pay another $30 just so I can add two
   new menus.

 * You mentioned you have a host you’re happy with — if you’re looking at the $99
   [WordPress.com Premium plan](http://store.wordpress.com/plans/premium/), that
   only applies to sites hosted at WordPress.com. If you have your own host and 
   your own WordPress installation, you don’t need that plan or any other WordPress.
   com-specific upgrades.
 * Instead, you can follow the documentation in the [WordPress.org Codex](https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page)
   to customize your theme. I’d recommend [creating a child theme](https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes)
   based on the Bushwick theme and then adding your customizations to that child
   theme.
