Support » Themes and Templates » adding css class to image using image uploader fields

  • In my theme theres a css ID that defines some images with a border at the bottom for POSTS. But I don’t want that border effect on ALL my posts images so I want to override that style but not remove it from the core css.

    What I want to do is create a css CLASS like the following:
    .img border { border:5px solid red;}

    If I do that in my css file how do I use it in the image uploader in the WYSIWYG editor. The image uploader has fields for CSS CLASS and STYLES. I added this “border” to the list of values in the css class field. So it reads: “alignleft wp-image-293 border”

    Problem is it works in the editor view but not the live page.

    Am I using the wp image editor field correctly? Is that markup correct?
