Free version does not add ‘create_posts’ or ‘create_pages’ capability. May be this is a result of some other plugin action. I do not have the Pro version. * Now none of my created roles have the capability to add posts, but hey all have“ Edit posts” selected. * The default ‘Author’ role does not have edit posts capability selected. I have also confirmed that going direct to /wp-admin/edit.php is blocked as well. * As far as I can tell the problem has started either since the latest URE upgrade, or possibly since we installed bbPress on the site.
