    Replace all of it with this:

    /*
    Theme Name: Spun Child
    Template: spun
    */
    @import url("../spun/style.css");

    got it

    done

    Go to the dashboard and under Appearance > Themes activate your “spun-child” theme.

    don’t see it?

    where?

    under plug in? activate child configurator ?

    go it

    activated it and shows up under themes!

    says “this child theme needs its parent?”

    just copied “functions.php” file into “spun-child” folder !!!!

    now what ?

    is this where i edit to add copyright etc?

    Don’t copy functions.php file into a child theme – it will likely crash your site.

    You need to copy footer.php file.

    got it thanks 🙂

    ok – i copied the footer file

    now after all of this…..

    it reads

    “Powered by WordPress | Spun by Caroline Moore | ” now i want to add something like

    “Content Copyright 2013 Art Donsky”

    is this correct? how do i put this in to “footer.php” that is in the “spun-child” folder?

    whoa
