Adding contacts in groups in Contact Form 7

    Hey ddesk,

    It’s possible to send the subscribers into a particular interest group in a list from our CF7 integration.

    An example code is:
    <input type="hidden" name="mc4wp-GROUPINGS[3577]" value="Group Name">

    Make sure to first generate the grouping code from our plugins form builder, and once you know the group ID & Value, replace it in the code above and add it to your CF7 form.

    Hi Harish,

    Do you need the premium version in order to get the option to send subscribers to a group?

    I’m just speculating based on what I’m seeing on your website, as I don’t see the option to generate code as I see here: https://mc4wp.com/kb/add-groupings-choice-comment-form/

    Hello ddesk,

    No, you do not need a Premium version to send the data to a group :).

    The feature to generate the code in our plugin is available in Premium version. However you can also use that code as a reference and then get the ID for the interest group directly from your MailChimp.com account.

    Hi Harish,

    We tried copied these two lines into our CF7 form and it didn’t work:

    <input type=”hidden” name=”_mc4wp_lists” value=”532265″/>
    <input type=”hidden” name=”mc4wp-GROUPINGS[38309]” value=”Test”>

    For some reason, if we take out the second line, it’ll add the person to the list, but once we add in the second line, neither work.

    Hi there,

    Do you see any warnings or errors show up in the debug log if you browse to MailChimp for WP > Other (and scroll down a bit)?
