Many readers have asked me why they can’t leave comments. They don’t know to click into the post to see the comment fields at the bottom.
I was hoping someone could help me to add code next to the post date at the top. I would preferably like to have what’s below:
OCTOBER 7, 2014 | LEAVE A COMMENT
OCTOBER 7, 2014 | 2 COMMENTS | LEAVE A COMMENT
If there’s a way to only activate the comment count if there is a comment, that would be great 🙂 Otherwise I’m fine leaving the comment count out (I don’t ever want it to say 0 COMMENTS.)
I’ve looked around the forums and a lot of people have recommended making changes to their content.php file, but my theme doesn’t have one. Unless it’s in the WordPress core, which I have been told not to edit.
