    hello!

I’m using WordPress 2.3 and customized Downtown Java theme. I don’t want my pages to have comment form and the theme does support it. But a few days ago I created a page, which is useless without comment form. Customizing template is useless – it inserts comment form in every page. So the situation is:

I need to have comment fom in one page, but don’t need it in other pages. how do I do this?

  • If it is a Page (as in Pages) you just create a custom Page template (see the link) that has call for the comments template.

If you are talking about posts (as opposed to Pages) – that’s more complicated.
