[Resolved] Adding comment link to posts on homepage

    @cakowalik

    I’m using the Origin theme and switched to showing full posts (as opposed to excerpts) on the homepage. I noticed that there isn’t a way to leave a comment on the homepage without clicking on the post’s title to go to its individual page. I’d like to add a comment link (preferably at the bottom of each post) on the main page. Thank you very much for your help, and as I’m fairly new to this, please tell me exactly where I need to add extra code. 🙂

    Thank you for your help! I tried adding the suggested code to my index.php, but it showed the comment count for the entire homepage and pushed it over near the sidebar. Maybe I didn’t put it in the right place? I’d really like a comment link for each post.

    add the code
    <?php comments_popup_link(); ?>
    possibly into index.php, between those two lines in index.php:

    </div><!-- .entry-summary -->

    							<?php do_atomic( 'close_entry' ); // origin_close_entry ?>

    That worked perfectly! Thank you very much, alchymyth! 🙂
