    I made my main body container opaque so that people can see my background but I want to add in some color behind my paragraphs on each page.

    See my site at

    I inspected the paragraphs with firebug but there is no “background” element so not really sure how I could go about doing this.

    The problem is now that you cant really see the copy with the opaque body container.

    See my old site at and browse the different surfboard pages for an example of what I am going for.

  • Not quite sure what you want, but try adding this to the end of style.css:

    .entry-content, .entry-summary {
        background-color: #BBBBBB;
        padding: 1.625em 10px 0;

    Not exact but darn close. Will see what I can do with that. Thanks.
