[Resolved] adding color behind page copy

  • I made my main body container opaque so that people can see my background but I want to add in some color behind my paragraphs on each page.

    See my site at http://www.carrozzasurf.com

    I inspected the paragraphs with firebug but there is no “background” element so not really sure how I could go about doing this.

    The problem is now that you cant really see the copy with the opaque body container.

    See my old site at http://www.carrozzasurfboards.com and browse the different surfboard pages for an example of what I am going for.

  • Not quite sure what you want, but try adding this to the end of style.css:

    .entry-content, .entry-summary {
        background-color: #BBBBBB;
        padding: 1.625em 10px 0;

    Not exact but darn close. Will see what I can do with that. Thanks.
