Adding code to field description possible?

    Does anyone know if it’s possible (and how) to add code to a field description? I’m trying to show the client how to add a special list in a wysiwyg field, they have to add classes, so I tried adding the < code > and also tried < pre > before and after but it’s not working. I’d like to make it really easy, just allow them to copy/paste the UL if that’s possible.
