# Adding code to a post

 * I am trying to show people the code for linking to my page, the problem I have
   is that everytime i post the <a href=”etc….” code it shows up as a live link.
 * Instead I want to show the actual code instead.
 * Any suggestions?

 * try this plugin and wrap your code in `<code>` `</code>` tags like HandySolo 
   mentioned and it will show up just like you wanted it to 🙂
