 * Sorry if this seems too basic for most of you, but I’m a real newby and am getting
frustrated with learning on the job. This is my first attempt at creating a web
site. I have code from StatCounter to add to my home page. My problem is that
I’m not sure where to paste the code, since the code in WP’s HTML Source Editor
doesn’t look like Stat Counter’s example.
Does it matter where I put it?

 * You might want to use [google analyics](https://www.google.com/analytics/home/).
Sign up for an account. Then, after google contacts letting you know your account
is activated. Use this plugin. [WordPress Reports](http://tantannoodles.com/toolkit/wordpress-reports/).
That should be all the stats you need.
If not, post the code of statcounter
here for me to see. I bet anything you can place somewhere in the footer.
