# Adding code snippet to homepage

 * Hi, where do you add code snippets to hardcode elements into the homepage?
 * I have the shiftnav mobile menu plugin activated, but i wish to use the custom
   menu instead of the default one so that i can position the menu underneath the
   site branding.
 * The code provided is either html or php (as follows), but i’m not sure where 
   to place either of these. Where would i place either of the following to render
   it to the homepage? I’m using the avata theme.
 *     ```
       <?php shiftnav_toggle( 'shiftnav-main' , 'Toggle Menu' , array( 'icon' => 'bars' , 'class' => 'shiftnav-toggle-button') ); ?>
   
       or 
   
       <a><i class="fa fa-bars"></i> Toggle Menu </a>
       ```

 * That part isn’t supported here. For pro or commercial product support please 
   contact the author directly on their site.
 * As the author is aware, commercial products are [not supported in these forums](https://make.wordpress.org/support/handbook/forum-welcome/#do-not-post-about-commercial-products).
   As you are their customer I am sure they will have no problem supporting you 
   there.
