adding class=”” to background-image

  • Is there any way to add a class=”” to my header image – which is set in the stylesheet (in #header {background-image: url()}) … or do I need to start tampering with the actual header.php?

The point is, I’m trying out child themes, and would love not to tamper with the parent theme files…

Perhaps someone has tried something similar with the child themes functions.php … I’m guessing it would somehow be possible.

Kind regards – constructive ideas appreciated.
