# adding carousel options

 * Hi, I’m trying to get the carousel to display a set number of thumbnails.
 * I’ve looked at the documentation referenced ([](http://jquery.malsup.com/cycle2/demo/carousel.php)
   and tried every combination I could think of, but still I can’t get it right.
 * This gives me the carousel: carousel=”fx=carousel”
 * I think I should add this somewhere in the shortcode to set the number of thumbnails:“
   carousel-visible=5”.
 * But where/how?
