That usually happens when the permalinks aren’t updated.

Have you walked through all the items on the FAQ?

    http://wordpress.org/plugins/car-demon/faq/

There is also the chance that it might be a conflict with another theme or PlugIn. I would start by deactivating any other PlugIns you might have installed and then switching the Theme to something like Twenty Twelve. Then I would go to the permalinks page and recheck the settings, then I would hit save on permalinks (just to make sure).

Give that a roll and let us know if you’re still running into issues.

Hi there, I have the exact same issue – I am just testing this on a dummy domain BUT I have added a car, I can see it on the cars-for-sale page but when I click info it says it cannot find the page.

Also if you try to insert MEDIA (a photo) it puts it in the BANNER area :/

    I have switched themes and I have tried IE10 & FF22

    Any help appreciated – thanks

Sorry you ran into issues. Can I get you to try and add a stock# and a price to your test vehicle and then let us know if that helps.

You should also add the “compare” widget to your sidebar or turn off the compare feature in the Car Demon settings area.

    Couple other things that might help solve the issues;
    1. Are you using an IIS server or are you on Apache (if you don’t know that’s okay)

    2. Did you double check your permalinks?

    3. Have you had a chance to roll down the items on the FAQ page?

Let’s tackle that first then we’ll take a look at the photo issue.

    take care,

Hi Jay, and thanks for the fast response 🙂

    ok, I disabled the Compare
I have added a stock code to oine car but the other one will not save the code, I have tried 002 02 2 and ss2 – none have saved after clicking update.

I was unsure with the permalinks and placed this in both Category and Tag bases:

    %postname%/%post_id%

I have read through the top of the FAQ but I was still stuck 😉

I will resume this job tomorrow, must go eat now

    Hi there,

I have removed the code from both Category & Tag bases
and now the pages work fine :s

Had I NOT followed the FAQ, then it looks like I would NOT have encountered the issue in the first place.

    Any ideas why thi9s happened?
