Support » Fixing WordPress » Adding blog to navs and images flow on page

  • Sorry if this is confusing. I think I’ve made it more difficult. If you look at you’ll see I have a BLOG nav. I created that as a “Category” so any time we put something in that is blog oriented, we can just choose “category” and the blog automatically shows up there.

Is this the correct way to do this? Because I couldn’t figure out how to do this (have an entry show up on a page unless it has a category).

The other part of the question is I’d like the images from that first blog post actually show up (they are in a gallery as of right now, and that was a bear to create. The process was buggie).

So, simply, how to I create a page or post or category where everytime I categorize something as blog, it shows up as a blog post. And, can I get the blog posts to “show” the imagery whether it’s a photo, a link or a video (see the nav “marketing ideas” which is also a category).

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

  • And, I really don’t understand the hierarchy parent pages, categories and subs. Perhaps the answer lies in there?

Perhaps the links too. I think I’m making it out to be more difficult than it needs to be. Got a feeling the links, categories and sub categories is the key.
