# Adding blank variations in bulk

 * Hi,
 * Is there any way to add blank variations in bulk? I know there is a way to add
   variations in chunks of 50 based on the variation values, but it populates the
   details based on the variations which can get confusing after 500 variations.
   Instead, I’d like a way to add blank variations in bulk and then manually assign
   them values after they have been added so I don’t get confused on which product
   I have and haven’t added when adjusting a product. Let me know what is possible.

   missed your post.
 * I’m a bit unsure what you mean by “blank variations”. The bulk option I can think
   of for creating variations is to use [the CSV importer](https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/product-csv-importer-exporter/)
   in WooCommerce. However, each variation has to be assigned to a product on import.
