You could try adding it via a Text widget.
The code for that widget would be:
<a href="url-badge-links-to" title="badge-name"><img src="badge-url" alt="badge-keywords" /></a>
url-badge-links-to: The site your badge will be pointing to;
badge-name: The name of your badge;
badge-url: The URL where the badge (image) is located on your server;
badge-keywords: Text that will appear if your badge is not loaded for some reason. You can add keywords related to your badge/image here for SEO purposes.
