# Adding Background Image To Posts

 * When I first set up a blog I created a custom theme that had images for the post
   background – post_top.jpg; postbg.jpg and post_btm.jpg.
    Having upgraded to wordpress
   3.0.1 I’ve decided to adapt my theme to be a child theme of twentyten – I’m getting
   there slowly but I can’t figure out how to put a background behind each post.

   Don’t worry about the red borders – that’s just me figuring out what code section
   affect which areas of the page.
 * I’d also like to know if it’s possible to edit the date of each post so that 
   it looks like the old version too. That’s more of a nice to have than a need 
   to have though.

 * I think I’ve part-solved this by
    * adding post_top.jpg as a background to #content.
   entry-title * adding postbg.jpg as a background to .entry-meta and .entry-content,.
   entry-summary and .hentry * adding post_btm.jpg as a back ground to .entry-utility
   So far…

 * Well, of course – use borders and border-radius (with the exception of IE, and
   IE9 is on it’s way anyway).
    Off to figure how to put an image between posts 
   as a divider now.
