I was wondering if there were any plugins out there which enable site visitors to add attachments (basic file upload) to comments.
Specifically, I’d like to set up a single page as a guestbook (like this )with just brief introductory text and then visitor comments with attachments allowed, to allow them to participate in discussion about the general theme of the site, rather than the more topical blog posts.
I came across a few specialized ones that came close, like the Riffly plugin which allows video and audio uploads, or RichComments, which allow visitors to submit Youtube or Flickr entries.
The one that seemed most promising was the Zeec embedded uploader, in that it supposedly allows file uploads of any type. However, the plugin and the site files are hosted on are all in german, and though I did get the plugin installed, I never got the flash-based uploader to display.
If there are any better plugins out there, or if anybody has pointers on how to write one from scratch, I’d love to hear it.
