Support » Plugin: Social Icons Widget by WPZOOM » Adding anchor text to links

    Hello, on this plugin is there any way to add anchor text to links? On website SEO testers such as nibbler.silktide.com my site picks up as having no anchor text in my social buttons and it is apparently damaging my SEO.
    Is there any solution to this with this plugin? The plugin perfectly suits my needs and it is my favourite of it’s kind. Thanks

    Hello,

    We’ve just released an update for the plugin, and now it will show the name of the icon when no Label was provided (there’s such an option).

    This is a good solution, however a weird glitch has started happening with this new update – The icon names from the fonts are appearing on mobile safari for me no matter what options I have selected. I have the new “icon label” names set differently from the original icon names and I even have “Show Icon Labels” disabled, yet the original icon names show incorrectly on mobile:

    @valinax,

    This happens because you have a plugin that minifies CSS files into one, so it still includes and serves CSS code from previous version of the plugin.

    Can you clear the cache somehow from the plugin you’re using?

    Clearing all W3 total cache caches has solved this problem. Thanks!
