Adding an SKU item number?

    I know you can give the user shipping / size / color options via the shipping / var tags … but is there a way to create a hidden field that cannot be altered by user? It will contain the SKU product number, and will ideally be sent to, and returned from PayPal?

    At a pinch, I could create a fake title, such as “Name_of_item(SKU:12345)”, and use code once message rec’d from PayPal to separate them, but it’s a bit clumsy when this is printed in the shopping basket.

    Another suggestion: Abbreviated title in shopping basket widget. Instead of “This Is A Product With A Long Title That Appears In Widget”, could it display something like: “This is a product …”

    I’ll now have a quick look at the code to see it I can see a workaround!
