At the exact moment, it’s not possible with the plugin. BUT, it is a feature that will roll out by the end of this week at the latest. (There’s one more feature I’d like to include, but whether or not that’s ready, I’ll ship the update this week.)

I’ll ping this post when it’s released with instructions on how to do it.

It’ll look something like this…

Wow–that’s fantastic! Thank you for the reply and the update.

please keep me posted on it.

Thanks again

I just posted version 1.1.0; it should be listed in your dashboard as an update shortly.

The process isn’t fancy (yet), so in you WordPress dashboard:
1. Go to Media->Add New
2. Drag the image from your desktop to the window or use the Select Files button.
3. Click the Edit link after the image uploads.
4. On the page that opens, copy and paste the File URL on the right side of the page.
5. Go to the widget settings (Appearance->Widgets)
6. In the text to show space, add in:

Depending on your theme, you can align left, right, or center by doing:
(or “alignright” or “aligncenter”). This is common in Genesis child themes, but may not be in all of them.

Let me know if you need further help!

It worked perfectly! Thank you so much for your help. This really is an amazing plugin.

Hi Brandon,
I’m trying to follow along with adding an image to the enews extended plugin but get caught up and #6 above. I’m not quite sure what or where “in the text to show space” is. The site is using the Serenity studio press theme. I currently have the image in a “text” field with the mailchimp info included. I’d like to try and get this same look using the enews plugin you developed. Is this possible?

Also, how do I set it up so that once I post a new blog posting the subscriber will receive the post in their email.
