Hi Neil,
Thanks for choosing Tracks!
There isn’t an option for this with Tracks, but it can be done with a “child theme”. Are you comfortable working with PHP and child themes? If not, I can make one for you. I’ll just need a link to the image you want to add.
Hi Ben,
I’m loving the theme so far and you’re incredible at helping people on here. I’ve been struggling with this issue all afternoon.
I’m an beginner on all counts. How can I use the “child theme”? Will it be a whole new install?
The link to the image is:

The site isn’t live yet but any help would be much appreciated!

Okay cool, it will be a new experience then, but activating the child theme is pretty straightforward. Here’s a link to the child theme that adds the image:
Click here to download child theme
Here are the steps for activating the child theme:
- Visit your site’s dashboard
- Go to the Appearance menu
- Click on the “Add New” button at the top of the page
- Click on the “Upload Theme” button at the top of the page
- Click on the “Choose File” button
- Select the tracks-child.zip file you downloaded from above
- Click “Install Now”
- Once the page reloads, click the blue “activate” link
Don’t be alarmed if the site looks different with the child theme active. This is just because the Customizer settings need to be copied over. You can use the Customizer Export/Import plugin to quickly copy your settings from the Tracks theme to the Tracks Child theme.
OK!
Thanks Ben, Doing this now.
You’re welcome!
If you’re happy with Tracks, could you take just a minute to leave a review? I would really appreciate it.
Thanks!
