Love the possibilities on your plugin.

However when I use “choose icon type” to add an icon, the (external) link’s style changes.
Our entire site uses verdana. But when I try to add an icon, the external links turn into Times.
It doesn’t matter if I choose Image, Dashicon or Font Awesome. The only way to fix it, is to select “-no icon-”.

    Can you help me?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

The issue is not exactly caused by External Links. You also have a plugin called Menu Icons by ThemeIsle that also has some CSS that applies to all elements that have a class name containing “el-icon” so that is what is actually overwriting the font 🙁

We’ll put it on our ToDo list and see if there’s anything we can do on our end, but since they use such wide targeting we can’t promise anything as External Links is already used by a lot of people who might have custom CSS using our existing class names so we can’t just replace them randomly 🙁

Thanks. I will see if I can remove the Menu Icons pugin.

Yep. Deactivating the “Menu Icons” pugin solved the issue. Cheers.
