Adding an excerpt to a custom post type completely breaks Visual Composer

    As the title explains I’m having a really strange error.

    If I add Excerpts to a custom post type that I made called ‘package’ Visual Composer’s editor completely stops working, on existing pages the initial visual composer bar will appear and start loading. But ultimately will time out.

    My console shows the following: TypeError: content is undefined
    And it links to /wp-content/plugins/js_composer/assets/js/backend/composer-tools.js line 320

    I’ve no idea why this would be happening but I need to get it sorted out, excerpts are a must for this post type. 🙁

    Not sure what to tell you there. From my experiences with Visual Composer, that’d be an error coming from their code, not CPTUI. I’d contact their support for this.
