    Hi, can you provide more information or an example of what you mean?

    Thank you

    Sure… I am developing my site using Elementor Pro… with all of the elements in my media library…pics, audio & video, I am able to add ‘alternative text’ to the elements for ‘accessibility’ reasons for the blind and visually impaired…

    The play & pause little pic of your plugin reside in the plugin folder (/images) and not in my media library…

    I need to be able to add the ‘alt text descriptions’ to these 2 images for your plugin (play/pause pics) so that when visually impaired people tab thru my site… they will come across the ‘alt text’ for the player buttons which will let them know that these buttons are for them, and if they select these buttons, they will hear the actual audio file of the webpage…

    Can I add your pics (play/pause) to my media library…and then change the url in your plugin to look to my media library to find the pics INSTEAD of your plugin, /images folder?

    OR do you have ANY help/advice you can provide so that I can add the ‘alt text’ to your images? …if not, I’ll have to use another solution other than your plugin…and I really like the simple small space of your plugin.

    Thanks for your response/help/feedback/assistance!!!

    Hi JP, thank you for clarifying further your needs. I have submitted a message to the developers to investigate further your request.

    Kind regards

    Thank you! …please mention this to them as well… maybe this ‘alt text’ can be put into one of your files…??? If so, just let me know which one would be best!

    Cheers…await your response after reaching out to your Dev’s

    The library we use doesn’t have an option for it unfortunately.

    mra13,

    Thanks for responding… last night I added this code below… I think it may be helping, my accessibility scores went up a bit… yet I haven’t actually tested it officially ‘with tabbing’ …

    [sc_embed_player fileurl=”https://YOUR AUDIO FILE HERE.mp3″]

    <script>
    document.querySelectorAll(“.sc_player_container1 > input”)[0].alt = “Click to Play Audio Description of Page”
    </script>

    It adds the ‘alt text’ into the code… what do you think??

    JP

    Bummer…. the <button> is still testing …empty for alt text.

    If there’s anyway to add this ability to your library, it may be worthwhile to do, figure out. Accessibility is gaining in NEED.
