Adding a text widget with an image – and lost all widgets below it

    My sidebar has several widgets. I tried to add a text widget with a simple image at the top of the sidebar, and all widgets below disappeared from the live page! When I move this widget lower on the list, the old widgets that are now above it will re-appear, but those below are still missing.

    Using simple html for the image…
    <img src="http://mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/image-filename.jpeg" />

    You probably have a mark-up error in the offending widget — i.e. extra or missing HTML tags. Try validating the page — which will show you any errors.

    If you need further help, please post a link to your site so someone can look at it.

    You also need to be using .jpg not .jpeg (guessing that may be a typo here?)
