Adding a page prior to entering the cart.

Hello,

I am using colorlab’s theme Piazza and woocommerce. I would like to add a page to the checkout sequence. My product page makes no product recommendations, once a customer puts an item in the cart, I would like add a page with linked items (up sell and cross sell items). along the same lines where do go to change the checkout sequence.

Is this done via the theme, woocommerce or is this done in core wordpress.

I have done an exhaustive search on this topic through the form and search engine, and I have not found a solution yet. I am not sure if I am using the correct terminology in order to search properly.

I greatly appreciate any help with this process and thank you in advance.
