adding a meta slider to Zerif lite theme
-
Hi I am trying to embed a meta slider on top this theme. I see that meta slider is inserted but the meta slider sits on top of home page information . Therefore when i scroll down the information gets hidden behind the meta slider. Please see -> threepointdesig.net.

Hi,
It looks like you’ve added it in the header.php file. Add your slider code in front-page.php file. 🙂
Regards,
Hardeephey what type of slider you added that is the thing i exactly want please tell me how did you done that?
Please help me adding the slider in this theme can you Hardeep and sangita
Hi,
The best way will be to use the Master Slider instead. You can install plugin and add its shortcode to the front-page.php file. 🙂
Regards,
HardeepWhere exactly should we paste the shortcode of SlideMaster on the Font-page.php code area ?
Check this guide out: http://docs.themeisle.com/article/13-replacing-big-title-section-with-an-image-slider 🙂
I read the article but i dont know how to create a child theme. I even installed filezilla but dont know how to use it. I would really appreciate your help.
Here’s hot to create a child theme: http://docs.themeisle.com/article/14-how-to-create-a-child-theme
You can also create it and then make it a .zip file, and then upload it directly to WordPress without even using FTP. 🙂

HardeepHi
I tried doing this but there was no change instead the whole slider / big title section disappeared
I added that in the style.css and bigtitle of the main theme.
Is it necessary to use child theme?
It is working with metaslider not with master slider… what are the dimensions for the slider? In mine, the background image is visible through the slider.
Also, can you please help me over one more issue..
I want my slider to be visible throughout the logo and the menu from the top.. any way to do that?
